Campaign Overview

You’ve signed up to participate in FANZO’s exclusive Guinness partnership during the Guinness Six Nations 2023.

This consists of prediction games, quizzes, competitions and other promotional activities on the FANZO app.

All of it is designed to get more customers into your venue for the rugby, to sell more beer during games and to drive extra midweek trade.

A key feature of this promotion is that sports fans are able to win free pints of Guinness that can be claimed in your venue.

Dates: Sports fans will be able to play, win and claim their Guinness prizes via FANZO from 27th January to 24th March 2023.

Reimbursement: For every free pint of Guinness claimed in your venue, you’ll receive £2 + VAT.

The Guinness Pint Predictor

The Pint Predictor is a prediction game that runs throughout the Guinness Six Nations.

Now in its 5th year, it’s been played by more than 100,000 rugby fans and is only available on the free FANZO app.

How Users Play

Players predict the winning team and score margin of each Guinness Six Nations fixture.

Perfect or close predictions are rewarded with free pints of Guinness.

You also score points that go towards your standing in various league tables

How Free Pints Are Awarded

Prizes are allocated for the following scenarios.

Perfect Prediction (Correct team, correct margin of victory)

Wins a free pint you can claim in a participating pub, instantly.

Great Call (Correct team, within 1-9 points of the margin of victory)

Wins a free pint you can claim from Monday - Friday.

Good Call (Correct team, 10+ points out from the margin of victory)

Wins a free pint code that’s giftable to a friend.

Players are only able to win one of each prize per week, with our data showing that 98% of all pints won on the Pint Predictor are claimed on weekdays.

How To Process A Free Pint In Your Pub

Step 1 - A customer will present their phone when ordering.

The screen will show a digital voucher. Two things that tell you that it's legitimate:

• The name of your venue will be on the voucher.
• A digital timer will be counting down. Customers have 5 minutes from generating the voucher to placing their order at the bar.
  
  
  Step 2 - Serve the customer their complimentary Guinness.

Check that the customer then clicks the button called 'Offer Received'.

This instantly logs the transaction on our system and ensures that you're reimbursed for the pint.

How To Set Up A Private League For Your Venue

The Guinness Sports Quiz

How To Play

Every Friday at 10:00, the Guinness Sports Quiz goes live.

Sports fans have to answer 10 sporting questions against the clock.

Beat the quiz and they’ll unlock a free pint they can claim in your venue any time from 12:00-23:00.

How Free Pints Are Awarded

The quiz is scored out of 300.

Players get 15 points per correct answer and up to 15 points are awarded depending on how quickly the correct answer was given - quicker answers mean more points.

If a user scores more than 200 points, they beat the quiz and unlock a free pint of Guinness.

How To Process a Free Pint In Your Pub

This is the exact same process as for the Guinness Pint Predictor.

Our geo-specific app tracks exactly how many pints are claimed in your venue, so you don't need to worry. This figure will be provided alongside your reimbursement.

When will I receive reimbursement for the complimentary pints that are claimed in my venue?

You will receive reimbursement for the pints claimed in your venue by the end of March 2023. contains

How much will I receive for each pint claimed in my venue?

For each pint claimed in your venue, you'll receive £2 plus VAT.

What days does the campaign run on?

The first official day of the campaign is 24th January 2023. Be prepared to receive customers coming in to claim their complimentary pints every day - between 12:00-11pm - until the 24th March 2023. There are no 'off' days so to speak once things commence on the 24th January.

How many other pubs are on the campaign?

Across the UK and Ireland, there are more than 2000 pubs and bars taking part in FANZO's Guinness Six Nations promotion.
