When does the Women's Euros start?

England will play the first match of the 2022 European Championships against Austria on Wednesday 6th July 2022. Kick off is 8:00pm with the game being shown live on BBC 1.

Euro 2017 was won by hosts, the Netherlands. They lifted their first-ever European Championship, beating neighbours Denmark 4-2 in the final.

England Women enjoyed a strong tournament, reaching the semi-finals before being knocked out by the eventual winners. Jodie Taylor took home the golden boot with 5 goals while Lieke Martens was crowned the best player.
